Chip off the block

With the new Tesla Model 3 landing here this month, local hype and mania surrounding the sought-after EV is high. But perhaps not as high as in the US where Model 3 owners have started exploring extremes with their new cars. One owner hacked off the back to turn the red example into a ute. Another has had her Model 3’s valet chip “pineapple-injected” into her arm — transforming it into a giant, fleshy key to her Tesla.
