Threats in capital

One person has been arrested in connection to bomb threats in Wellington. The Department of Corrections confirmed a person made a number of bomb threats, including against Community Corrections staff in Lower Hutt. A Corrections vehicle near the Wellington Service Centre was checked and cleared by police officers. The Lower Hutt Service Centre was evacuated before being checked and cleared.
