Jewel thefts arrest
A teenager has been charged with jewel thefts in Christchurch and Wellington over three weeks. Anaru Tyson Dry, 19, of Christchurch, is accused of being behind thefts valued at $206,085. Christchurch District Court charging documents say Dry stole rings, pendants and gold chains from Michael Hill and Stewart Dawsons stores. He was granted bail and is due back in court on November 19.
