Artificial friends

Though the idea of a self-driving car might seem boring and lonely to some, Japanese manufacturers are developing artificial intelligence software to keep drivers company. Nissan’s “invisible to visible” software blends holograms, AI and high-speed internet connections to create avatars that “make life less lonely on the road”. No release date has been given for this AI system, but we can assume it will release alongside Nissan’s self-driving fleet.
