Seven days in the South

-

Discover the beautiful South Island in this seven-day road trip that takes you from Marahau, at the southern entrance of Abel Tasman National Park at the top of the South Island, down the West Coast finishing in Queenstown. This journey will take you through some of this country's most beautiful scenic routes, Nelson/ Tasman with its art galleries and golden beaches (we suggest you divert to Marlborough for its spectacular wine, food and wilderness) then down the West Coast - featuring the world's most accessible glaciers, a UNESCO Heritage area, natural arches big enough to park a truck in, and breath- taking vistas around every corner. Your seven days in the south ends in Queenstown. Explore vineyards and sample some of the world's finest wine. Take the time to slow down, relax and rejuvenate surrounded by majestic mountains and lakes or finish off your journey with one of the many adventure activities on offer. Your seven days can be as busy or restful as you want to make them, either way - we think this journey will transport you through some of this country's most iconic locations, past awe-inspiring scenery, through small Kiwi towns packed full of culture and character and a road filled with memories that will stay with you forever.
