Immigration fraud

Immigration NZ says it welcomes the convictions in an immigration fraud case. A 30-year-old woman has been found guilty on five charges of supplying false or misleading information under the Immigration Act 2009. She charged workers up to $600 each to facilitate fake refugee claims to get work visas. She will be sentenced at the Waitakere District Court on February 15, 2023.
