National leader Chris Luxon denies his MPs were asleep at the wheel when the Government tried to entrench part of the Three Waters Bill. Luxon told Newstalk ZB’s Barry Soper his MPs did what was expected of them, in battling the 60 per cent entrenchme­nt clause. The public was only alerted to the constituti­onal significan­ce of the issue when a political academic tweeted about it.
