Upgrade begins

The Hokianga Health Trust has begun its Hokianga Hospital upgrade. The first stage will create some new patient space and a pharmacy room, with a start also to be made on strengthening and fire-proofing the marae, Pou Kara Ariki, which will be closed for about 12 months. Anyone who needs marae facilities during that time should see the hospital services manager to discuss alternatives.
