Rawene races return

Two years after the demise of Rawene’s Brumby Races, organiser Rob Pink will be back on Saturday with a new event. Brumbies Alive was for “horsey people and their whanau,” with mounted games-style challenges dreamt up by Hokianga riders, he said, ending with a 4km cross-country race starting and finishing with a full circuit of Rawene race course.
