Lake Ohia farmer Tony Schluter recorded 267mm of rain on 14 days last month, for a two-month total of 568mm on 31 days. The same two months last year delivered 195mm on eight days. Mr Schluter said the rain had delayed his hay-making, but he had grass coming out of his ears.
