Ocean champion

The New Zealand Association for Environmental Education has named Experiencing Marine Reserves founding director Samara Nicholas as New Zealand’s Ocean Champion 2018. She is currently in the Kermadecs with the Sir Peter Blake Trust. The New Zealand Coastal Society will donate the $500 prize to Ms Nicholas’ work.
