Renewed appeal

Police are repeating their appeal for information about an assault on a young woman on the Kerikeri Domain last month. Sergeant Ross Laurie said the “particularly vicious” occurred at about 1.50pm on Monday February 19, when the 16-year-old victim was approached by two women who dragged her, pushed her to the ground and kicked her repeatedly, in an attempt to take her phone. Anyone who saw the attack, or noticed any suspicious behaviour on the Domain around that time, is urged to contact Constable Mark Roberts on (09) 407-9211, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555-111.
