Centre draw for J8 singles

Bowls Far North Centre has released the draw for it’s men and women’s centre singles for junior bowlers (those who have been playing eight years or less) to take place at various venues around the district this Saturday and Sunday, March 17 and 18.

Men, playing on Kaikohe’s grass green are: Alan Bright (Coop), Mike Reddy, Don Lilly (RSA), Ben Yukich (Kaik),Paul Burren (Church), Graeme Hunt, Paul Strong, John Upperton, Barry Williams, Ian Skinner (Keri), David Haynes (Okai), Edward Hau, Brent Colley, Fab Cassidy, John Cassidy (Opo); and, women on Kerikeri’s grass green: Shirley Marr, Barbara Scahill (Coop), Evelyn Bradley (RSA), Hera Kennedy, Nui Reihana (Kaik), Shirley Young, Tessa Pont (Church), Tracy Kastelan, Sue Hunt, Jenny James, (Keri), Linda Fowlie, Eileen Cassidy (Opo).

Finals of both sections will be held at Kerikeri on the second day; format for the event is round robin, four bowls each, and first to 21 shots or a time limit of 2 hours 15 minutes with no time limit for the finals.

Players have been asked to try and bring another club member along to mark the singles for them.
