Wihi and the Golden Oldies

Awanui rugby is hoping to cobble together a team of Golden Oldies (i.e. players aged over 35) to play Moerewa United Kawakawa when the two clubs clash in round 3 of the North Zone competition on Easter Saturday, March 31.

The day represents the United Kawakawa RFC’s centennial celebrations, with the club looking forward to playing its Mangonui counterparts to help make for a big day of proceedings.
