Bad choice

The Northland Age - - Front Page -

A Far North man picked the wrong place to allegedly try to do a skid — right in front of a police car that was heading to a call out. Police said officers were going to an incident on the state highway about 1.40am on Saturday when a car allegedly did a skid in front of them. The driver of the other car was breath tested and allegedly had a reading of 884 micrograms of alcohol per litre of breath — more than three times the legal limit of 250mcg. The 52-year-old was charged with driving with excess breath alcohol and had his licence suspended for 28 days.
