A free concert and more

-

Resonate, runner-up in last year s national television competition The Naked Choir, is in Kaitaia to perform at a free family/youth concert at Te Ahu on Saturday night (7pm).

The choristers, members of the 360 Youth group, will be accompanied by a host of other talent on stage, but the concert will be just the culmination of a big five days.

The youth group is running a holiday programme for children from 5 to 13 years from today through to Friday at the SDA Church in Bonnet Road. The programme will include music and singing, and the children will be invited to perform what they have learned at the Saturday night concert, along with other local talent.

“We are anticipating a strong response to a programme that will fill a need in that it provides a safe outing for the whole family with strong appeal to our youth — high-quality entertainment at no cost to the community,” a spokesperson for the organisers said.
