Full green for mixed triples at RSA

The Shack­le­tons Unichem Open at the Far North RSA ear­lier this month at­tracted full greens of 16 mixed triples teams from the Church Road, Houhora, Coop­ers Beach and host clubs.

Be­fore prize­giv­ing be­gan, pres­i­dent, Ian Mac­nee thanked the spon­sor for their gen­eros­ity by not­ing they have backed this tour­na­ment for over 25 years. Thanks also went to the match com­mit­tee, green­keeper, the helpers in the kitchen and to Kath the time­keeper and raf­fle seller.

Spon­sor Raewyn Taffe pre­sented the prizes to the top placeget­ters who were, Marty Doak, Rob Paine and Reo King-Ben­netts 31⁄2 wins, 23 ends, 39 points, 1, Kevin Briscoe, Stef Hil­dreth and Mavis Topia 31⁄2, 22, 34, 2, Barry Al­li­son, Sel­wyn Har­g­reaves and Eve­lyn Bradley 21⁄2, 21, 48, 3.
