Doing a hard Rescue Run

The Far North team of Mike Grylls, Tash Grylls, Raewyn Lawrence, Tracy Graham, Tony Blandford and Narelle Stayte did a great job for St John at this year’s Rescue Run, raising more than $5000 for the organisation, but it took a bit of doing.

They placed 61st out of 90 teams over a 15km high intensity course in Woodhill Forest, negotiating team challenges and disaster zones, designed by Disaster Relief and Emergency Service professionals, along the way.

They were very grateful for the support they had received from the business communities and the public in Doubtless Bay, and said that without that generosity they would not have reached their donation target, or even got to the event.
