No difference

now most people look for a broader approach. These 10 items do give some suggestions on how one should conduct their personal life: ‘Thou shalt not commit adultery’ — boring but probably sensible; ‘Do not let thyself lust after thy neighbour’s wife’ — again it seems sensible, but a bit redundant given the previous commandment; and ‘Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s ass’, which refers to his cattle, not him, I assume.

As Aldous Huxley wrote in Brave New World, a testament to the power of surveillance, ‘O brave new world that has such people in it.’ And that is the message — even school children have a variety of ways of being.

What do we have now? A leading ‘No’ campaigner and religious conservative, Lyle Shelton, says schools should not have the right to expel students simply for being gay — but should be able to do so if a student acts on that impulse by having sex.

I know they are looking at introducing cameras in classrooms with facial recognition in order to take the roll, but surely not for rolls in the hay — how would schools know what their students are doing during the evening or on weekends? So, does this mean the gays cannot have sex at school and others can, or they cannot have sex at all and that will be policed — by the same squad policing bonking in Canberra?

A previous (married although separated) deputy prime minister, Barnaby Joyce, was found to be in a sexual relationship with a previous employee — she was pregnant, and so the prime minister introduces a ministerial sex ban, a bonking ban for the inner Re article in Dominion Post October 17, ‘Tamihere urges Ma¯ ori for Ma¯ ori’.

Tamihere wants Ma¯ ori to have their own health system, and says it’s a breach of the Treaty of Waitangi. Nowhere in the Treaty says Ma¯ ori have special rights. People who line themselves up with the people who are called Ma¯ ori are of European descent, which means they are not different than the rest of us.

No, they are not different. Their physical bodies are exactly the same as all other human beings on the planet. And no, they don’t need a different health system because of the different culture. It appears that they want someone who speaks their own language and will let them do what they want.

Separatism is not going to solve any problems, but that is the way things are beginning to look. All humans, no matter

"Separatism is not going to solve any problems, but that is the way things are beginning to look. All humans, no matter what colour their skin or what belief system they adhere to, are all equal."
