The Taipa Speed­way re­ported an av­er­age turnout of rac­ers for the sec­ond meet of the 2018/19 do­mes­tic sea­son on Sun­day. Stand­outs in­cluded new driver Chris ‘Tiny’ Wy­att, mak­ing his de­but in the men’s C-sa­loons, Nick Cald­well as the sole vis­i­tor from Kaikohe, and “Mike on the mic”, with a re­port from the day not­ing it was fan­tas­tic to have the lat­ter back on the PA.

Re­sults were, B grade: Roy Walker in car No 61 (plac­ing 1, 1 and DNF) 1, Rob An­der­son 89 (2, 2, 1) 2, Rob Weal 47 (3, 3, 2) 3. Pro­duc­tion, men: Allen Hal­lett 44 (1, 1, 1) 1; ladies: Car­men Hal­lett 44 (1, 1, 1) 1. C grade, ladies: Lizzy Perry 33t (1, 1, 1) 1, Pam Fisher 717 (2, 2, 2) 2; men: Chris Wy­att 33t (1, 1, 1) 1. Su­per sa­loons: Keith Wil­son 10k (1, 1, 1) 1, Nick Cald­well 53 (2, 2, 2) 2. Next meet at Taipa will be on Sun­day, Novem­ber 18, from 1pm.
