Racers and spectators enjoyed an awesome day for the most recent domestic meet of the Taipa Speedway’s 2018/19 season on Sunday.

Club spokeswoman Lizzy Perry reported the weather was great and while things were still a bit low in terms of car numbers, the stockcar boys put on a fantastic show for everyone.

“One stockcar in particular landed on his side, after connecting with another and headed straight for the wall.”

Results were as follows. B Saloons: Rob Anderson (car #89, 1, 1, 1) 1, Rob Weal (#47, 2, 2, 2) 2; C Saloons: Craig de Waal (#8, 1st, 1st, 1st) 1, Pam Fisher (#717 2, 2, 2) 2, Peter Cortesi (#34, 3, 3, 3) 3; and, Stockcars: Rob Anderson (#89, 1, 2, 1) 1, James Payne (#42, 2, 1, 3) 2, Marty Lorenz (#200 (3, 3, 2) 3.
