A 60-year-old Australian man who was removed from the cruise ship Pacific Explorer when it arrived in the Bay of Islands on November 27 and subsequently admitted a charge of indecent assault on a male aged over 16 has been convicted in the Kaikohe District Court and fined $6250. His immigration status was revoked and he was ordered to return home.
