Remanded in custody

Thirty-five-year-old Taima Blake appeared before a Justice of the Peace in the Kaitaia District Court yesterday, and was remanded in custody without plea until February 7 on charges of failing to stop and failing to remain stopped.

Police confirmed that Blake had been on ebail at the time of the crash, and had allegedly removed her bracelet.
