Second arrest

Police have charged a 25-year-old Doubtless Bay man with theft of property from a tourist’s van at Cape Reinga on Christmas Eve. He and an alleged co-offender, a 24-year-old Auckland man, who was arrested on the spot, were later seen at Te Paki. The stolen property was recovered.
