Two more in blue at Kaitaia station
Two more police recruits have completed their training in Porirua and have been posted to Kaitaia.
Amanda Hudson, a longtime member of the admin staff at Taipa¯ Area School, and Briahn Ruri, from the Mid North, were formally welcomed with a powhiri at Parapara Marae, and are now undertaking their field training with Constable Tim Murdock, at Mangonui, before joining their sections in Kaitaia.
Recruiter extraordinaire Sergeant Sarah Wihongi, who is based in Kaitaia, said both women would make a very valuable contribution to the force in Te Hiku.
