Prime Min­is­ter Jacinda Ardern has ruled out the pos­si­bil­ity of the gov­ern­ment ex­tend­ing free menin­gi­tis vac­cines to chil­dren aged 5 to 12 in North­land “for now.” Ms Ardern had re­ceived an open let­ter from Whanga¯rei MP Dr Shane Reti, urg­ing the gov­ern­ment to vac­ci­nate all North­land chil­dren.
