Cash for Kaeo

Ma¯ori Development Minister Nanaia Mahuta has announced funding of $2.3 million for the Whaingaroa Community Development Project, with $650,000 to be made available late this month. The project will focus on housing initiatives in Kaeo/ Whangaroa, including housing repairs and affordable home ownership options through investment packages. Ms Mahuta congratulated Te Ru¯ nanga o Whaingaroa for bringing the Te Oranga o Nga¯ Hapori project to fruition after working with Te Puni Ko¯kiri and other partners for the last three years.
