Take a seat

Patrons of Sunday’s Concert at the (Railway) Station in Kawakawa on Sunday are reminded that they will need to take something to sit on. The concert, one of the Bay of Islands Vintage Railway’s big fundraisers of the year, starts at 2.30pm, featuring the Bay of Islands College cultural group, women’s choir Bella a Cappella, opera singer Daniel Morrison, the Whanga¯rei Youth Orchestra, Dianne Brown, Jack and the Boys, Cath Toomey, Annette and Kim. Tickets (at the gate) will cost adults $10, children $5, families $25, preschoolers free.
