Cannabis talk

A public meeting has been called at the Ratana Church, on Kamo Rd in Whanga¯rei, starting 5.30pm tomorrow, to discuss the implications of legalising cannabis. Family First director Bob McCoskrie will address some of the issues, including the known health effects of using the drug, arguments that the ‘war on drugs’ had failed, that cannabis was a health issue rather than a legal issue, and the effects legalisation would have on the workplace and road safety.
