Heat continues at Houhora
The enduring hot summer weather produced a good turnout at the Houhora club’s regular Sunday competition on the weekend, with Bruce Hall finishing first with 40 stableford points followed by Frank Hurwini on 38 and Ivor Bates 37. The hidden hole competition was won by Cabby Johnson.
The Wednesday 9-hole haggle was won by Bates with 19 stablefords, followed by Louis Kemara 18 and Grant Kirkbeck, visiting from Australia’s Gold Coast, with 15.
