More houses

The Northland Age - - Local News -

Public housing data for Northland region show 37 households were provided with homes in the last quarter, with more on the way to meet increasing demand. The figure refers to households who were either on the housing register or the transfer register, whose existing public housing no longer met their needs. “Our Government has been clear that the best way to tackle the housing crisis is to increase supply as quickly as we can, and that’s exactly what we are doing,” Minister of Housing and Urban Development Phil Twyford said. The last quarter had seen 10 more public housing places, and three transitional housing places, made available in Northland.
