Bill welcomed

Save Animals From Exploitation (SAFE) has welcomed Green MP Gareth Hughes’ private member’s bill, which seeks to ban what it says are some of the cruellest aspects of rodeo, namely steer-wrestling, calf-roping and the use of flank straps. Head of campaigns Marianne Macdonald said before the 2017 election the Labour Party had promised to ban some of the cruellest aspects of rodeo, and action on that promise was long overdue.
