Police charged two motorists with driving with excess alcohol after they departed from the Best of the West gamefishing tournament prizegiving at the golf club at Ahipara on Tuesday night. One recorded 588 micrograms per litre of breath, the other 441. The legal limit for drivers aged 20 and over is 250 micrograms.
