Split on arms

The community is divided over whether or not police should routinely carry firearms. Fiftyfive per cent of respondents to last week’s Northland Age Facebook poll say they should, while 45 per cent say ‘no’. This week’s poll asks whether assets given to iwi through Treaty of Waitangi settlements should be subject to Capital Gains Tax.
