Houhora on par

Results from the handicap/ par competition at Houhora on Sunday were, in first place Patrick Wedding with +7 followed by John Cooper (a new member) +5 with Cabby Johnson third with +2. The regular midweek 9-hole haggle was last Wednesday won by Ivor Bates with 18 stableford after a countback with Glenys Rogers also 18 points and Cecilia Daly third with 17. This coming Sunday the club holds its AGM at 9.30am followed by the usual competition with the annual prizegiving ceremony for 2018 held at the finish of play.

In other news, the club’s pennants team continued their good form in the interclub series by adding more points to their tally in last Saturday’s competition (no further details advised).
