Garden theft

Sadly, we have thieves among us. Whether they be the lowlives who will without conscience or empathy, take from backpacker­s or the equally low plant thieves, who steal from the gardens created through the effort, pride and cash of others. Whether their victims be a charity such as Hospice, or a private citizen such as myself.

I am angry. I am a pensioner who has put energy and pride, not to mention money, into a garden which, being adjacent to Mill Bay is positioned for the enjoyment of all. Some pathetic thieves with no conscience whatever, have more than once stolen bromeliads from my hardearned garden, presumably for their own selfish enjoyment or
