Fuelling the anger
The main-stream media throughout the Western (once-Christian) world are unanimously expressing outrage at the massacre of 50 Muslims in Christchurch. And it is an outrage for Muslims to be targeted for slaughter by an angry nonMuslim in the once-Christian country of New Zealand.
But will those media examine how much they might have contributed to that anger ? How much outrage have they expressed at the longstanding and ongoing slaughter of Christians by Muslims in Muslim countries and elsewhere?
Do they not think that the angry perpetrator of the Christchurch slaughter might have had his anger fuelled and fanned by the ‘Christianophobia’ and Islamophilia which characterises their publications and broadcasts ?
On the 11th of this month, 46 Christians were massacred by Muslims in Anguwan Gamu, Nigeria. On February 26, another 32 Christians were massacred by Muslims in Maro, Nigeria.
On January 27, 27 Catholics were slaughtered in a church in Jolo, Philippines. A further 111 were injured. One could go on ad infinitum.
Let them take a look at themselves, the mainstream news and current affairs media, and let them not avert their gaze from the blood on their hands.
