Football funsters

The first of two fun days for the Kaitaia United AFC football kids will be held at Taipa this Saturday, from 9.30am to 12.30pm. The event is aimed at kids of all ages welcome from Years 1 to 13 (ages 5-18) where the day will consist of a series of fun football activities which players of all ages will rotate around. The fun days also allow club teams to gauge numbers ahead of the season start on May 4 (first Saturday back after the school holidays). Organisers invited any young football players who don’t have a team to come along and have some serious fun, while a team for the season can be organised for them. The second fun day will be held at Ahipara the following Saturday.
