The compulsory vaccination debate rears its ugly head again. Ugly, because compulsory medication should never be considered. What’s next? Compulsory euthanasia?

The US Federal Government Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines (ACCV), under the US Department of Health and Human Services, tabled a report from the Department of Justice on cases settled for vaccine injuries and deaths, as mandated by the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVICP). This was required because, in 1986, pharmaceutical companies were granted total legal immunity from being sued due to injuries and deaths resulting from vaccines.

Drug manufacturers in the vaccine market can now create new vaccines with no risk of being sued if their product causes injury or death, and if a family member is injured or dies from vaccines, they must sue the federal government. Many cases are litigated for years before a settlement is reached, e.g. a flu shot victim litigated for seven years before reaching a settlement. One Gardasil HPV vaccine

victim litigated for over five years, and one, who suffered cardiac arrest and death took over 3 years to settle.

This data does not include those damaged who do not have the financial or emotional capacity to sue.

Between the period 16.11.18 and 15.2.19, 153 cases were adjudicated and 125 cases compensated. It is reported that the total amount of damages paid out by the US government so far in 2019 for vaccine injuries and deaths is over $110 million.

With measles, it is reported that in a

six-year period there had been no deaths from measles, but in the 10-year period there had been one death. The same report states that there had been over a hundred deaths per year from the measles vaccination.

Pause for a moment, and consider whether, knowing the statistics, you will play Russian roulette with your child’s life.

What Robert Kennedy’s investigation showed was that the idea of vaccination may be good, but the safety aspects of the vaccination had not been adhered to in 32 years.

If one reads the vaccination insert one sees the ingredients included in the vaccinations. What we should be demanding is safe vaccinations. Many are not anti-vaccination, but are demanding safe vaccinations, and are not prepared to put their child at risk of permanent injury or death.

It is a parent’s responsibility to ensure their child is kept safe, and one would have thought that should be society and government’s prime responsibility as well.

You can’t undo the damage or death of a child. Compulsory unsafe vaccinations are an abomination to a purported caring society.

Re ‘Applauding students’(march 21), Ray Paterson asks for evidence in support of an alternative explanation to global warming.

Every flood, cyclone and cow flatulence these days is pushed by our media attributing to or causing global warming. On a personal note, I can see no evidence that tells me we have global warming.

In fact many years ago the summers seemed warmer than they do today.

In the late 1950s Cyclone Ida ripped through Kaitaia, causing immense damage.

In 1958, Kaitaia experienced a flood that inundated the town. I can still go and dig tuatua at low tide.

In the 1940s Kaitaia suffered a severe drought, and I can remember my dad telling me they had to cut down willow tree branches to feed the cattle.

Were all these caused by global warming?

Can Ray give me instances around here that would support his claims of ‘global warming?

If the ‘science is settled’ Ray, can you explain to me why on May 30,2008, Britain’s Daily Telegraph reported that 31,000 scientists signed a petition denying global warming?

The academics, including 9000 with PhDs, claim that greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane are actually beneficial for the environment.

I would suggest if Ray would like to find who is pushing global warming he just needs to follow the money trail.
