KAITAIA VETS. A great turnout of 32 enjoyed their golf and a cool breeze before the heat of the day arrived in full at the Kaitaia vets’ weekly outing at Ahipara on Monday last week (March 25). Top scores on the day went to, men: Mike Masters 34, Bruce McDonald, Chris Hollamby 31, Peter Hammond, Terry Shaw, Barrie Knightbridge 29; women: Raewyn Shaw, Val Yates 29, Elaine Knightbridge, Marj Duncan 27; nearest pin: Brian Hamilton-Smith, R Shaw, and lucky chicken: Anne Squire.
