Living wage rises

The Living Wage Movement Aotearoa New Zealand has announced an increase in the living wage from $20.55 to $21.15 an hour, which takes effect on September 1. The living wage is defined as income to provide workers and their families with the basic necessities of life, enabling workers to live with dignity and actively participate in society.
