Strike cancelled

More than 80 junior doctors at Whanga¯rei, Bay of Islands, Kaitaia and Dargaville hospitals have called off the four-day strike that was to have begun on Monday next week. The New Zealand Resident Doctors’ Association is continuing to negotiate employment agreements with DHBs, calling for safer working hours that allow for more flexible rostering.
