Golf ladies

The midweek ladies at Kaitaia reported a good turnout of 16 for the LGU competition last Wednesday, April 3, with Fay Patterson in fine form with a nett of 71, then, Elaine Knightbridge 77, Marj Duncan 78, Sandy Joe, Betty Evans 79, Noeleen Robson 81 and Elaine Hammond 82. Tomorrow will see the women contest the first round of the Cossack Cup. The ladies also have two teams in the provincial pennants competition and last week travelled to Whangaroa where both played well leaving Kaitaia A in top position, and Kaitaia B moving up to second place thanks to some good results. The women’s plan was to continue to play their best, noting this was still only the second round.
