Lions’ job

Mayor John Carter was slightly off the mark when he said Kaitaia’s civic service was the only Far North Anzac commemoration not organised by the RSA. The MWWL is organising Te Hapua’s service (see page 3), and the local Lions club is behind the service at Mangonui, starting 11am at the memorial on the waterfront, or in the hall if it’s raining.
