Child injured

A child who was struck by a car in Leigh St, Kaeo, last week is believed to have suffered only minor injuries. Police, St John and fire crews from Ka¯eo, Kerikeri and Mangonui responded to the accident, outside the Four Square about 9am, although Kerikeri and Mangonui were stood down. The child was taken to the Whangaroa Health Centre.
