Child charged

A 14-year-old boy was arrested and a stolen car recovered within an hour of it being taken in Kerikeri on Sunday night. The car, reported taken at 10.30pm, was found in the Kerikeri area at 11.30pm and the boy was arrested. He has been referred to Police Youth Aid on charges of burglary and unlawfully taking a vehicle.
