Beware the fanatics

Bill Morris continues his tirade (The messenger is shot, letters April 16). Demanding that everybody adhere to his beliefs is fanaticism, which is dangerous, as evidenced in Christchur­ch. We respect his right to his views, and we expect the same respect.
