An expert not to be missed
Neuroscience educator Nathan Wallis, host of the documentary All in the Mind and co-host of the television series The Secret Life of Girls will deliver a public presentation on the developing brain at Kaitaia College on Thursday next week (May 2), 7.30pm.
Mr Wallis is billed as boasting a profound reputation as a lively and engaging speaker who uses humour and plain language to bring a complex topic to life. His presentation will include the latest research, delivered in a way that makes sense.
He will take his audience through the childhood stages of brain development, undertaking to reveal “little tricks” that will make parenting easier, help parents open up communication with their child in a way that gets them to listen, develop and grow — “and even like you more!”
