A safer place

A generous donation by an O¯ pua man has helped make the local school a safer place. The benefactor, who wishes to remain anonymous, gifted a speed indicator device to the community, which has been installed on Franklin St. The community group Love O¯ pua also made a contribution, liaising with the Far North District Council council and other agencies to find a suitable location and obtained permission to install it.
