A Kaitaia woman is urging motorists to take care at the intersection of Redan Rd and Norman Senn Drive in Kaitaia while Kaitaia College and Te Kura Kaupapa Ma¯ori o Pukemiro students are using the pedestrian crossing outside the college, particularly in the morning, when sunstrike can be a real issue. She said she had seen cars “flying by at top speeds, almost wiping out little ones”.
